This piece was inspired by the wonderful Li Ziqi. I found her channel on Youtube and became so inspired by her creations and the beautiful landscapes of her home in China. Here is my interpretation of her on a hunt for wild mushrooms :) My hope is that this image is a soft reminder of the healing power of nature.
Painted in soft blue hues of watercolour, protected with matt varnish.
Mounted in warm cream and framed in a warm oak 31.4 x 31.4cm veneer wrapped, wood frame with art glass, made in the UK.
