Moonlit deer ~ print

This piece is inspired by a late drive home on some country lanes in Devon.
The most beautiful young deer stepped out into the road, luckily some distance ahead, so we could stop and dim our lights so it wasn't too stunned and could leap back into the safety of the hedge after pausing for a look at us.
It stayed in my memory because it became lit by the moon shining through the trees in a lovely, ethereal glow.

Printed on beautiful 190gsm Bockingford Watercolour paper using pigment inks, to ensure all the details and colour of the original watercolour illustration are retained.
 
8 x 10 inches: The image itself measures approximately 5 x 7 inches with a small white border and my signature in the bottom right corner.
 
I hand sign all my prints on either the mount/paper at the bottom right of each piece. Let me know if you would like a personalised message/specific quote/the original artwork quote before my signature. Alternatively just write BLANK in the custom text box for signature only.
